Real-time monitor
Trap selected console messages and send em to e.g. SPLUNK® or any SYSLOGD server. It can create RFC 3164-compliant Syslog message blocks that will work with any log server.
A batch/STC sample can be found in the RA2.SAMPLIB member FIL$CN60.
Purpose:
To trap user defined mainframe console messages and to send em to any TCP/UDP server for further processing/viewing.
The selected console messages are available for viewing on the mainframe too. Automatic/manual spillover has been integrated using GDGs. Thus allowing to view older events.
